Exploring what it means to be you.
I never imagined I would become a therapist.
What has always drawn me, though, is something much simpler and much deeper: people. Their stories, their inner worlds, the experiences that shape who they become, and the questions we quietly carry about ourselves, our relationships, and the kind of life we hope to create.
I’m Sara Ahmadzadeh, RP, and I created Phoenix Mind from this curiosity and from a belief that therapy can be about more than managing symptoms or fixing what feels difficult. It can be a space to slow down, look inward, and begin to understand ourselves with greater honesty, compassion, and curiosity.
I believe that beneath many of our struggles is a story worth understanding. The patterns we develop, the emotions we carry, and the ways we relate to ourselves and others often make sense when we look at where they came from. When we begin to meet ourselves with curiosity rather than judgment, something can begin to shift. We can develop a different relationship with our thoughts, emotions, experiences, and ultimately, with ourselves.
My hope is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen and where your story can be met with compassion, openness, and without judgment. A space to explore not only what you are going through, but what it means to you, where it may come from, and what might become possible as you begin to understand yourself more deeply.
I don’t believe life is simply something we are meant to get through. It is limited, complicated, and deeply meaningful. And within that, I believe there is value in taking the time to understand who we are, reconnect with what matters to us, and create a life that feels more intentional, present, and genuinely our own.
